“We’ve been making these recipes the right way from day one,” says Salsa Queen’s founder. “Getting a 96 on our SQF certification wasn’t about changing what we do – it was about proving that doing things the traditional way can still meet the highest safety standards. My grandmother would have expected nothing less.” The timing couldn’t be better, as this certification coincides with their expansion into one of the Midwest’s most selective grocery chains. Next week marks a significant milestone as Salsa Queen products hit the refrigerated sections of twenty Heinen’s locations throughout Ohio and Illinois.
